We teamed up with Sophie Gravia for the launch of her new book and podcast, working alongside the teams at Bonnier Books and the BBC to deliver a comprehensive publicity campaign.
In June, Sophie simultaneously released her latest novel, The Dicktionary Club, and launched her brand-new award-nominated podcast, Situationships With Sophie and Christine, co-hosted with fellow bestselling author and TV personality Christine McGuiness.
To support the launch, we secured a mention for Sophie’s new book in the podcast announcement release ahead of it being issued on the BBC Media Centre, and secured an interview which propelled her onto the BBC News Online homepage (National and Scotland) with one of the most-read stories of the day.
The topics surrounding the chaos of modern-day dating and female solidarity explored within the book helped us tap into the cultural zeitgeist and spark a national conversation. This momentum saw Sophie and Christine join the Loose Women panel, with Sophie also guesting on The Jeremy Vine Show.
We used the launch moment to elevate Sophie’s national profile, securing features in The Express, The Sun, and MailOnline.
The campaign also places Sophie across a range of cross-genre media outlets, including The Guardian, The Mirror, The Times, BBC Reporting Scotland News at 7, BBC Radio Scotland Afternoons, Off The Ball podcast, The Scotsman Magazine cover, Prolific North, and many more.
